While Telecentres Powys is committed to the concept of Teleworking it has yet to establish a durable, robust link with organisations willing/wishing to outsource work.
Telecentres Powys would wish to facilitate the establishment of such links but acknowledges that the provision of value added services are a more sustainable model for the creation of work in the rural economy. In this respect projects to develop indigenous skills in HTML and Web authoring have been undertaken in an attempt to provide the stimulus for the development of skills.
